Resources for schools

Labouring-class writers, and literature about working life generally, are an increasingly common feature of programmes of study in schools.

To assist teachers and students, Dr Tim Burke of Nottingham Trent University (previously a teacher at Coundon Court Secondary School in Coventry) is creating some resources of use in classrooms and exam revision.

These will be available at the start of the school year 2009-10.

1. John Clare, ‘Sonnet [I love to see the summer]’ (UK GCSE syllabus, AQA examination board 2005-2009)
2. William Blake, ‘Little Boy Lost’ and ‘Little Boy Found’ (UK GCSE syllabus, AQA examination board 2005-2009)
   

These resources will be updated and expanded regularly in line with the Examination Boards’ revised specifications.
